There is a rural village under Hwaaksan Mountain where traditional Korean houses are well-preserved.
This village is home to the Yeoju Lee clan, with eleven traditional houses fenced in with stone walls.
Visitors can stay in some of the traditional houses, and participate in programs such as rural village etiquette school, horse riding, and traditional culture museum.
The village is also home to Miryang Cheese School, which offers cheese making classes to children.
In addition, various classes including Korean cooking, farming, soybean paste making, soy sauce making, and others are offered.
